Over 2 million Tesla vehicles were recalled Wednesday and the company will offering a free software update, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced, over issues concerning the cars' autopilot feature.
This is not the first recall notice from Tesla this year, which is led by CEO and billionaire Elon Musk. As of Dec. 13, the electric car company had given owners notice of 13 different recalls of its various vehicles, from the Model X to Semi trucks concerning a variety of issues.
USA TODAY tracks car recalls from Tesla and other manufacturers in an automotive recall database, which compiles the latest car and motor vehicle recalls from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
